Speaking of parodies, MGS has been given the comedic treatment with anime counterparts. Her you could see the mixture of monster hunter with MGS.
Pokemon has always been the center attraction when it comes to fighting monsters and the trademark ball that stores them... Well if Solid will to have one of these things, perhaps Metal Gears wiould be a lot more easier to defeat...
Seems that the vocaloid wasn't spared from the hands of MGS parodies and certainly this looks horribly painful to one's eyes... And replacing the leek with snakes instead, this is one cosplay I would not want to see...
Perhaps one of the best way to advertise the Amazon.com with snake hiding in his iconic box.
- A tribal musical note behind her left ear
- A bar code reading "1 9879-11299-1 3" on the back of her neck
- On her left shoulder, a guardian angel
- On her left arm: a portrait of her dog Elvis, the words "Sir Corky Moore" and a date, a broken heart on the inside of her left elbow
- A razor blade on her left wrist (inside)
- A red star on her left hand
- On her right wrist: the words "What Goes Around Comes Around", and the words "True Love"
- A symbol for love and a red heart on her lower stomach
- On her left leg: dragon on her thigh, the words "Mr. Pink" on her inner thigh, a Japanese symbol for good luck on ankle
- A Japanese symbol for happiness, a frog and two other unknown symbols on her left foot
- On her left and right big toes: a red heart on each
- Dog tags representing her brother and dad on her right ankle
- A Chinese symbol representing infinity above her right ankle
Of course it is believed there may be more ink on Pink's body, but these are the tats that are confirmed.
Did you like Scarlett Johansson tattoos? then have a look at all the other celebrity tattoos, some of them are really amazing (either too beautiful or just atrociously awful )
What is the similarities of Pokemon with Left 4 Dead? Read this comic strip and find out. Parodies like that comes out very often in almost all successful franchises around the world and is seemingly humorous somehow to see the western and eastern artwork combine... In such cases, these can be seen in real life action films ripped from Japanese animes for example dragonball and even games like Tekken.
What better is it to play the anime music that we so loved on the Yamaha Stagea Electone. This first video shows a musician playing the all so famous music we all know in Macross Frontier Lion. One of the most amazing performance ever heard...
Perhaps one of my favorites would be Clannad After Story's Toki Wo Kizamu Uta played on the Electone. Well... that is if you could afford one of these at a whooping price of at least SGD$15,000. A mini version of the Yamaha Stagea Electone costs about SGD$3000 and similarly boost the same functions of the original.
One of the best ever music I heard would definitely be Lupin The 3rd. Looks difficult to master though... However with only the electone, you could become a one man orchestra right at the comfort of your own home... The fact that this instrument could actually play almost all sounds made by theoretically all instruments you could find...
I never used to read manga all that much, but in the beginning of November, I suddenly got into manga. Lucu Lucu is the first Manga I've ever actually finished. Still, it took me about 15 days to finish all 90 chapters.
The reason I like Lucu Lucu so much is because of the characters. Rokumon is a normal middle school kid, but you can always expect to find him in a strange situation. Lumiel is an angel who has come down to earth to keep an eye on the demons. Rokumon's friend from school who is super obsessed over Lucuha. And there are many more.
But my favorite character by far has got to be Lucuha. The way she was drawn is really refreshing and cool. You never see more than one of her eyes at any given time, and her loli loli body is a must see for any lolicons.
Overall, the art style is really simple, yet clean and it really appeals to me. It is mostly this reason that I'll be looking up other works by Asari Yoshitoo, the author. There is really little plot throughout the manga except for some chapters every now and again that focus on Rokumon's lost memories, and the ending can be considered sort of "out there." About halfway through the series, the manga gets a bit repetitive and much more ecchi, but it never loses its charm.
My rating: 8.5 / 10
I really enjoyed this series and felt sad when I finished it. I'm going to have to find more works by Asari Yoshitoo to fill the hole.
Episode 05
The girls are enjoying a nice day at the park, eating grilled mushrooms, as always. Herc is almost killed by a truck. If not for the help from Mary and Kate, she probably would've been killed!
Mary and Kate turn out to be Phantom Thieves! Oh the irony! They are on the hunt to capture Kamaboko when they run into Twenty on a date with a dakimakura of himself.
Mary and Kate eventually do capture Kamaboko, after a a bit of opera singing and some chatting with the girls of Milky Holmes. When the girls realize Kamaboko is missing, they set out to search for him. Sheryl runs in to G4. The G4 team now calls themselves G3, so I'm guessing that they've accepted that Kokoro is gone. Recall the kidnapping scene at the end of episode 4.
Episode 06
Well, I guess I was wrong. Kokoro is safe and sound. G4's name must change dynamically depending on how many people they have with them at any given moment. I really would've loved to have seen more on the subject of the kidnapping.
In this episode, a princess with an uncanny resemblance to Sheryl shows up and asks for Sheryl to switch places with her for a day.
Sheryl accepts when the princess offers to give anything in return; Sheryl asks for a dehumidifier! :D
The man the princess is supposed to marry is a total hentai! Yay! But Sheryl actually seems to be having fun torturing this man. Also... That cat tail... :3
After some life changing moments, the princess acts up the courage to tell the hentai that she doesn't want to marry him. The now not-hentai prince instead confesses that he is actually in love with the princess' grandmother. The two get married right then and there.
According to THIS the OST to Panty and Stocking will be released on 12/29. It will feature the OP and ED as well as three other songs and the BGM of the show. I don't know how long this info has been out but I just found out about it and am excited. December is looking to be a good month with this news and the release of The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya on bluray. Be sure to mark your calendars!
Putting animes aside, sometimes technological machinery are moe too. Somehow such has also brought about different groups of otaku with different interest in stuff. For example those who like trains and keep them as hobbies are probably called Densha Otaku and those who like anime are called anime otaku, etc. However it might be, strangely they are able to click together discussing about such hobbies rather than those who doesn't have one. War weapons are really nice because of their hardcore design and cool look to it which makes it renegade. If you do play games like Metal Gear Solid or even Call of Duty, you'd truly appreciate what these techs could awe you in many ways than 1.
Angel Tattoo Meanings
Angels can mean different things to men and women. For women, an angel often denotes the desire to maintain purity or their desire to be a good person. Angels symbolize the ultimate nurturer because they are often depicted as rescuers or saviours. It is fitting then that women usually find a common ground with them. Wearing one on your body signifies a deep desire to be cared for and looked after. It also shows one's own innate ability to protect oneself. Angels are a sign of strength for men. Many angels have been described as warriors of the soul. Men choose angel tattoos as a symbol for bravery and courage. Universally, angels signify protection for either sex. Many people look at angels as guardians and a gauge for the moral compass.
Star Tattoos and Artwork
Before I start I should clarify this post a bit. WHen I say lesser known I mean shows that aren't werent the biggest of its season/ aren't still hyped up to this day. Obviously all anime shows are going to have some sort of following, but I am talking about the shows that aren't the Haruhi's or the K-on's. These are all shows that I don't ever hear a whole lot about and when talking to other anime fans they don't have a clue about what I am talking about. Some of these may be bigger than I think they are, but oh well you get the idea. These are in no particular order
1. Kodomo no Omocha aka Kodocha
2. Super Gals! aka Gals!
3. Princess Tutu
4. Shadow Star Narutaru
5. Sakura Diaries
6. Yume de Aetara
7. Tonagura
8. Wind: A Breath of Heart
9. Lovedol: Lovely Idol
10. Cossette no Shouzou
11. Alien Nine
12. Area 88
13. Bokura ga Ita
14. Final Approach
15. Hatenkou Yuugi
16. Yoake Mae Yori Ruri Iro Na
17. Uta Kata
18. Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge
19. Inukami (this one may be a bit too well known for this list but meh)
20. Asagiri no Miko
Hearing things like "faku" in this anime is has become pretty standard, but in this episode, they were particularly creative.
